This position REQUIRES U.S Citizenship due to work being performed.
This is a Senior Level COMSEC Program Manager position. The ideal candidate would have a minimum 10 years of relevant COMSEC experience and exceptional attention to detail.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the receipt, transfer, safeguarding, custody, issuance, and destruction of COMSEC material in accordance with DoD and AF Policy.
- Responsible for providing oversight and troubleshooting of COMSEC equipment at the program management office and field sites.
- Manage the secure voice equipment and mobile secure phones and provide training and updates, when necessary.
- Maintain COMSEC generated documentation to include Letters of Appointment and User Designations, briefings, reconciliations, inventories, etc.
- Conduct semi-annual, self-inspections, to include inventories of all COMSEC material; conduct and document monthly spot checks.
- Key in-line encryption devices and troubleshoot when necessary.
- Develop standard operating procedures and continuity guides related to specific functions in accordance with the statement of work.
- Investigate, prepare and submit COMSEC incident reports
- Responsible for preparing COMSEC inspections, audits, and Staff Assistance Visits.
- Maintain the Emergency Action Plan; conduct and document periodic Emergency Response drills.
- Establish/maintain office administration and security records and files.
- Must have a comprehensive understanding and experience with various fill devices such as the DTD 2000 and SKL.
Education/Experience :
- A master’s degree in Computer / Information Technology, or equivalent academic/technical training/certification;
- 10+ years of experience in computer systems security with 5 years of management experience, and/or related area of expertise; DoD 8570.01-M IAM level II and IASAE level II compliance;
- Cybersecurity Service Provider certifications within DoD 8570.01-M within the designated timeframe upon hire date; and a minimum of the following certifications: CISM, CISSP, GSLC, or CCISO are required for this position
Additional desired certifications: CEH (Master) or CERP and Project Management Professional (PMP)
In addition, an Cybersecurity Analyst IV must possess the following qualifications:
- Subject matter expert-level experience supporting various system configurations such as standalone, local area networks (LANs), and wide area networks (WANs)
- Demonstrated experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) process, eMASS, ACAS, SCAP, STIG, Cyber Risk Assessments (CRA), Cyber Table top (CTT) or related process
- Robust conceptual and practical understanding of IT Infrastructure designs, technologies, products, and services
- Demonstrated experience formulating and/or interpreting cyber threat analysis of adversary techniques, tactics, and procedures used to disrupt computer networks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical ability, judgment, and the ability to work effectively with the customer and Cybersecurity Engineering Support Team
- Demonstrated experience with planning, designing, executing, and assessing discussion-based exercises
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and work under strict deadlines
Salary: the expected salary for this position is $137,280 to $156,000 but is subjected to change
