TCI has an immediate need for two Facilities Technician in Louisville, KY . This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity. This is a contract opportunity with possible extensions and/or hire. SUMMARY

Our Fortune 500 Energy client is one of the U.S.'s lowest-cost energy providers and an industry innovator, operating in Kentucky.

The Facilities Technician will participate in the moving of PC’s from one location and setting up in another location. The scope of this project is to move PC’s from buildings that are being downsized to main locations in the Louisville area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Disassemble and reassemble computer laptops and PC’s, printers primarily from one location to another.
• Make sure PC’s are properly working in new location.
• Ensure compatibility and proper functioning of all hardware and software components.
• Diagnose hardware and software issues and implement appropriate solutions.
• Repair or replace defective components as necessary.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous testing procedures to identify defects or malfunctions in computer systems.
• Document test results and provide feedback for improvement.
• On-site troubleshooting and escalation if need be
• Position will be based in Louisville, KY and will require work to be completed at various off-site locations in and around Louisville as necessary.
• Mileage reimbursement will be paid for travel to various sites.

REQUIREMENTS

• 1+ years of experience as a Desktop Technician.
• Familiarity with network protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
• Must have excellent customer service skills and follow through.
• Candidate is responsible for transportation to off-site locations in and around Louisville, KY which includes mileage reimbursement.
• A+ certification is highly desired.
