Essential Duties:
- Provide strategic direction and lead all activities for technology and product development, aligned with the corporate mission / focus
- Establish and maintain corporate technology and product development roadmap
- Lead research and development activities for advanced passive device and integrated voltage regulator components and deliver new power conversion/management products
- Assist with internal and external relationships/engagements with respect to technology buildout strategies and roadmaps
- Oversee all aspects of the company’s research efforts, including planning and executing projects, managing staff, and reporting findings to the Executive Team
- Drive all key projects with R&D to support business goal objectives
- Develop programs to incorporate latest developments to improve both existing products as well as identify/study the potential of new products
- Understand customer expectations on future product needs and translate into development / production opportunity for Saras
- Perform research, planning, and implementation of new products and power performance architectures
Required & Preferred Competencies:
- 15+ years of engineering experience with significant experience in managing engineering teams in product/process development. Specific experience in semiconductor packaging and/or passive component technology preferred.
- Experience with employment and effective use of industry established product development methodologies; from ideation through production readiness.
- Data center AI / HPC high performance/power semiconductor processor and accelerator power delivery topology application familiarity preferred
- Deep understanding of passive component design, structures, materials and processes, including specifically capacitor and inductors and techniques for miniaturization
- Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate, establish positive working relations, and maintain relationships- internal and external
- Demonstrated experience leading high-profile projects/programs
- Ability to effectively communicate (written and oral) at all levels within the company and external to the company
- High level of emotional intelligence
- Ability to create and translate business data and metrics – and the creation of reports/presentations
- Ability to positively represent the company and company’s objectives
- Ability to influence others and collaborate / advise executive leaders
- Advanced Electrical Engineering and/or Material Science degree
- PhD preferred but not mandatory
