Job Summary:

The Senior Marketing Manager - Events and Local will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. This role will focus on planning and executing events, as well as developing and managing our local marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event planning, local marketing, and a passion for the beauty and wellness industry. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of Chapter and establish our presence across our markets.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning and Execution:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive events strategy, including grand openings, promotional events, workshops, and community outreach programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define event goals, budgets, and timelines.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, staffing, and promotional materials.
  • Create event marketing campaigns to drive attendance and ensure maximum exposure and visibility.
  • Measure and analyze event success metrics, providing reports and recommendations for future improvements.

Local Marketing Initiatives:

  • Conduct market research to identify target demographics, local competition, and emerging trends in our operating locations.
  • Develop and implement localized marketing campaigns to effectively reach and engage the local community, leveraging channels such as partnerships, offsite events, print, radio, outdoor advertising, and digital marketing.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, signage, and advertisements, tailored to the local market.

Digital Marketing:

  • Work closely with the digital marketing team to integrate event and local marketing efforts with online initiatives.
  • Collaborate on developing compelling content for social media, email marketing, website, and other digital channels.
  • Track and analyze digital marketing performance, leveraging insights to optimize campaigns and improve results.
  • Assist in managing online customer reviews and reputation management.

Branding:

  • Ensure brand consistency across all event and local marketing efforts.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with relevant influencers vis the Social team, local businesses, and organizations to increase brand visibility and expand customer reach.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop marketing collaterals, including event signage, in studio displays, and promotional materials.


Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of professional working experience or equivalent combination of education, training, expertise.
  • Proven experience (4+ years) in event planning, local marketing, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of the beauty and wellness industry.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of local marketing strategies, including community engagement, grassroots marketing, and media relations.
  • Creative thinker with a strong eye for detail and a passion for creating exceptional customer experiences.
  • Proficient in digital marketing strategies and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and partners.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment.
  • Willingness to maintain a flexible schedule, understanding that most event duties occur on evenings and weekends, or on an as needed basis.
  • Medium to High level of travel required (minimum of 70%)



Annual Pay Range: $130,000-$150,000
