- Customer Acquisition & Retention : Analyze customer data and identify opportunities for increasing customer lifetime value (LTV), improving retention strategies, and optimizing pricing, promotions, and cross-selling.
- Strategic Thinking : Contribute to long-term business strategy, focusing on how data science can improve marketing decision-making, enhance LTV, and reduce churn.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Work closely with marketing, data engineers, and software teams to integrate models into existing systems, improve processes, and provide ongoing feedback to optimize performance.
- Modeling and Reporting : Help build and manage marketing models, including demand prediction, customer segmentation, and incrementality analysis. Leverage cloud-based platforms (AWS/Snowflake/Fivetran) for data pipeline management.
- Ad-hoc Analysis : Conduct detailed analysis of marketing data to uncover trends, track key metrics, and provide insights to business leaders on campaign performance, user behavior, and market trends.
- Portfolio Management : Oversee and manage projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals, while providing leadership to junior team members
What We're Looking For:
- Experience : Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science, with a focus on marketing or customer-facing products. Experience with consumer goods (CPG), subscription models, or life sciences is a plus.
- Technical Skills :
- Python (for model development and data analysis, no R)
- ETL processes and familiarity with modern data stacks (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, DBT, Fivetran)
- Tableau for data visualization (a dedicated team member handles most dashboarding)
- Ability to build and deploy machine learning models to production

- Soft Skills :
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking
- High adaptability and comfort in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for business stakeholders
- Positive attitude, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset.
