Business Analytics and Special Markets Manager

Overview: Safco seeks an analytical and strategic In-House Business Analytics and Special Markets Manager to join the team. This exciting and dynamic role will focus on financial analysis, special markets, market strategy, and long-term planning, helping Safco stay competitive and grow in an ever-evolving marketplace.


The Role: The Business Analytics and Special Market Manager will play a critical role in analyzing market trends, developing sales strategies, provide reporting to support sales and special market functions, maintain and grow our special market relationships, own chargebacks for special markets and provide a pricing strategy to ensure Safco stays competitive. This is a fast-paced, data-driven position requiring sharp analytical skills, creativity, and a passion for problem-solving. You’ll help drive innovation and process improvements while delivering clear, timely Analytics to help shape Safco's future growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Strategy: Develop strategies to target dental service organizations (DSOs), dental associations, universities, and buying groups.
  • Pricing Analysis: Review and present pricing models, including group rates and special market rates, to the Executive Team.
  • Sales Development: Provide data driven strategies and reporting to the sales team to enable them to win new business and support account growth.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze sales trends and competitive intelligence to drive Safco's commercial strategy and pricing.
  • Customer Engagement: Coordinate with various departments to support vendor relationships as needed and related to special markets.
  • Marketing and Sales Analytics: Provide marketing and sales management clear financial reports to guide marketing and sales strategy.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and products to become a subject matter expert and provide high-level expertise to clients.
  • Process Innovation: Help design and scale internal processes to support Safco's growing infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree: Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven success in business analytics roles
  • Strong command of financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic market planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience in the dental industry and/or Marketing/Sales preferred but not required
