Role Overview As the Marketing Director at INFI, you will drive the company’s marketing strategy and execution to fuel growth and brand recognition. You’ll play a pivotal role in developing marketing programs that align with INFI’s mission to innovate and support restaurant operations. Your focus will include demand generation, brand positioning, and digital marketing, targeting both restaurant chains and independent operators. This leadership role requires a strategic mindset, a collaborative approach, and a passion for driving measurable results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute marketing strategy : Design and implement marketing strategies that support revenue growth, customer acquisition, and brand visibility across digital, social, and traditional channels.
- Oversee demand generation : Lead initiatives for lead generation, content marketing, and targeted campaigns, ensuring alignment with sales goals and nurturing the customer journey.
- Drive brand positioning : Define and communicate INFI’s brand voice and messaging to position the company as a leader in restaurant technology.
- Optimize digital marketing efforts : Manage digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing, ensuring data-driven approaches to maximize ROI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams : Work closely with product, sales, and customer success teams to align marketing efforts with product launches, sales initiatives, and customer feedback.
- Build and manage partnerships : Identify and foster strategic partnerships with industry influencers and restaurant associations.
- Measure and analyze performance : Track KPIs, analyze campaign performance, and leverage insights to continuously improve marketing effectiveness.
- Lead and mentor the marketing team : Inspire, guide, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
- Support sales on key opportunities as thought leader, market or product expert.
- Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, etc. Become recognized as a thought leader and influencer in the space.
Qualifications - Experience : 7+ years of marketing experience, with a proven track record in a leadership role, preferably in SaaS, technology, or restaurant industries.
- Strategic thinker : Strong ability to craft long-term marketing strategies and adapt to industry changes.
- Analytical mindset : Proficient in data analysis and using insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Proven digital expertise : Deep understanding of digital marketing, content creation, and brand building.
- Excellent communicator : Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to effectively present to executives and clients.
- Collaborative leader : Experience building and leading a team, fostering an environment of shared success, and working cross-functionally.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Content Creation: Fundamental skills in content creation, including photography, video editing, blogging, and podcasting.
- Location: Chicago, on-site 3 days/week
