General Overview

The Wealth Advisor serves as the primary point of contact for wealth clients, responsible for managing existing relationships and developing new client connections. This role requires a deep understanding of the client's financial and family situation to create a tailored, goals-based investment management strategy and financial plan.


Responsibilities

  • Act as the client’s main point of contact, delivering exceptional service to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and acquisition.
  • Generate sales leads through collaboration with internal teams, centers of influence, and personal networks.
  • Gather and analyze personal and financial data to assess the client’s financial goals, objectives, and risk tolerance.
  • Select and implement the Bank’s asset allocation strategies aligned with client goals and risk preferences.
  • Coordinate with the Bank’s Investment Committee to address unique portfolio requirements.
  • Conduct annual investment reviews with clients and provide updates on portfolio strategies.
  • Utilize financial planning to enhance client retention and drive new business.
  • Serve as a client advocate and strategy consultant on the Bank Investment Committee.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory investment review requirements and department policies for assigned accounts.


Requirements

  • Five (5) years of successful investment and/or portfolio management experience
  • Experience working with clients with complex investment management and financial planning needs
  • Relationship management experience with clients is required
  • Knowledge of investment solutions, risk management, asset allocation, and program design
  • Demonstrated knowledge and use of financial planning software


Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

  • Business development experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; able to effectively articulate investment management and financial planning options to clients
  • Experience in banking or financial services is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or other related field of study
  • CFA/CFP is preferred
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development
  • Demonstrated knowledge of industry practices and regulations
