Position Overview/Summary:
Perform support and sales for a financial advisor in meeting the needs of our clients. Performs a wide array of duties ranging from administrative activities, such as opening new accounts and performing account maintenance, including managing a book of clients and making recommendations.
Position Responsibilities
- Place trades (buy/sell) and complete necessary documentation to handle the processing of trades.
- Meet with clients to review new business document, obtain signatures, establish online access.
- Identifying cross-sell opportunities, including opportunities to refer customers to other lines of bank representatives through proper customer profiling and needs-based selling.
- Contact clients with any changes in their accounts.
- Assist with answering phone calls or delegating faxes to appropriate staff.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of two years’ experience in the financial services industry
- Series 7 or 6 registrations Preferred.
- Experience utilizing a Contact Management System (CRM)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent people skills; enjoys constant interaction with clients.
- Ability to work independently with good problem solving and time management skills.
