SUMMARY: The FP&A Manager will be responsible for overseeing the forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis processes, as well as providing strategic financial insights to support the organization's growth and profitability. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of financial management principles, and a proven track record of driving process improvements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Financial analysis: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
· Forecasting and budgeting: Working with the CFO to manage and oversee the annual budgeting, forecasting and long -range financial planning processes, as well as supporting strategic planning with insights drawn from FP&A.
· Financial Modeling: Developing and maintaining complex financial models to support decision-making across the organization.
- Reporting: Preparing monthly financial management and operating KPI reports, variance analysis reports and board materials. Lead the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
· Cost control: Developing product costing techniques and leading pricing analysis in collaboration with Production and Sales
· Collaboration: Working with other departments to prepare accurate budgets, reports and process improvements
- Mergers & acquisitions: Working on the financial analysis of potential mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Evaluate potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions to support growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives.
- Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in manufacturing preferred.
- Expert financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications, such as QuickBooks.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and management reporting.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven mindset.
· ERP implementation experience required and experience with BatchMaster ERP is a plus
· Experience in M&A integration is a plus.
· Curiosity and strong interest in hands-on-learning of operations
