Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in daily cash management, budgeting, 13-week forecasting, and annual financial forecasts. This role also requires strong Excel skills, with the ability to handle complex data and financial models. Experience in construction, Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules, and Sage software is highly desirable. This is an in-office position with a focus on maintaining financial operations and supporting strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Cash Management: Oversee and manage daily cash flow for all company locations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of cash balances, deposits, and withdrawals. Maintain cash positioning to meet daily operational needs.
- Budgeting: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of annual budgets across all business units, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Support the business in managing budget expectations and performance tracking.
- 13-Week Cash Forecasting: Develop and maintain the 13-week rolling cash forecast, ensuring accuracy in predictions for liquidity needs and identifying any potential cash flow gaps or surpluses. Collaborate with various entities to gather data for forecasts.
- Annual Forecasting: Support the development of the annual financial forecast, working closely with CFO and other senior leaders to ensure projections align with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management to assist with decision-making. Generate accurate and timely reports to track performance against budget and forecast, highlighting any variances.
- Excel Expertise: Use advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, macros, etc.) to analyze and present financial data. Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Construction & WIP Schedules (Nice to Have): Experience in the construction industry, including familiarity with Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules, is a plus. Ability to track and report on project costs, budgets, and progress.
- Sage Intacct Software (Nice to Have): Familiarity with Sage Intacct financial software, particularly in relation to budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, is highly beneficial.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of financial analysis experience, preferably in a corporate or construction environment.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and financial modeling.
- Experience with budgeting, cash forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of cash flow management and financial forecasting principles.
- Knowledge of construction project financials and Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules is a plus.
- Experience with Sage software or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
