About the Role

We seek a dedicated and knowledgeable Associate Financial Advisor to join our team at SCS in Bellevue, Washington. As an Associate Financial Advisor, you will be crucial in providing financial guidance and support to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with senior advisors to develop financial strategies for clients.
• Meets with clients to gather, discuss, and understand personal financial information such as current income, expenses, insurance coverage, tax status, financial goals, investment objectives, risk tolerance, and other information necessary for financial planning.
• Identify and pursue new business development opportunities.
• Conduct thorough financial analysis and research to provide tailored recommendations.
• Assist in the creation of financial plans and investment portfolios.
• Collaborate with clients to address their financial goals and concerns.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in financial regulations.
• Maintain necessary FINRA licenses and Washington State life and disability insurance licenses.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build strong client relationships.
• Assist and lead client meetings and presentations.
• Handle administrative tasks related to client accounts.
• Adhere to the firm’s compliance requirements.
• Communicating with clients and internal staff to resolve account-related issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial institution in an advisory role.

Required Skills

• Current FINRA License Series 65 or a combination of FINRA Licenses Series 66 & 7
• Licensed in Washington State for life and disability insurance.

Pay range and compensation package

Salary Exempt: $80,000-$100,000 per year plus variable bonus. You will be eligible to participate in a variable bonus plan. Actual payouts will be determined based on individual performance objectives and prorated based on the start date. The starting base salary will be eligible for review and potential increase within the first six months of your employment. This is contingent upon the successful transfer of clients from your previous relationship into our firm.
