Job Title: Corporate Accounting Manager

Location: Golden Valley, MN (Hybrid)

Duration: Contract till June 2025 with possibility to extend

Job Description:

This is a hybrid role *** so only local candidates will be considered. Personal or agency provided equipment is required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations and accounting results of the Corporate Accounting team, which include accounting and controls process ownership for the areas of Benefits, Treasury, capital transactions, and intercompany accounting and reporting. This includes people management of 3 direct reports and reviewing results completed by outsourced partners.
• Lead benefit plan audit planning processes, including oversight of staff and process optimization efforts.
• Partner with Global Accounting Organization team members as well as cross-functional business partners in Treasury and Tax to support accounting and reporting to achieve optimal capital structure.
• Oversee certain statutory reporting processes.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree in Accounting required
• CPA with Big 4 or national public accounting experience required
• 7+ years relevant experience (corporate accounting, audit, financial reporting, etc.) required
• 1-2 years people management experience required
• Aptitude for broad US GAAP subject matter including codification research and documentation expertise required
• Results-oriented, proactive, agile
• Strong communication skills and superior problem-solving ability
• People management experience
• Highly organized and able to manage and prioritize evolving priorities
• SAP experience a plus
