Kettering Health requires the covid-19 vaccine.Job Description The Echo Ultrasound Tech is responsible for applying imaging to include proper machine settings, transducer selections and additional imaging. This individual must be knowledgeable of techniques and patient position to produce high quality ultrasound images. The Echo Ultrasound Tech is responsible for providing care to patients in all settings in collaboration with other interdisciplinary personnel. An Echo Ultrasound Tech should have knowledge of human anatomy and spatial relationships of all cardiac and vascular structures. The Ultrasound Tech must exercise initiative and independent judgment, correlate cardiac and vascular images on particular body structures so that reading physicians are provided with adequate diagnostic information, learn new procedures/operate new equipment, work efficiently, accurately, and methodically. The position consists of taking one week of call in every four weeks, but is dependent upon the needs of the department. This includes Saturdays as well. Job RequirementsRegistry by Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)ECHO certificationRegistered in both adult echocardiography (RCS or RDCS) and vascular ultrasound (RVS or RVT)Graduated from an accredited school of Ultrasound/Sonography
