OverviewnnAs a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with Dignity Health Medical Group in Arizona, you will provide anesthesia services for patients requiring surgery and any other procedures requiring an anesthetic ensuring they receive excellent nursing when they are at their most vulnerable.nnEvery day you will answer questions about the procedure and recovery, perform patient assessments, make sure the equipment is ready to go, prepare anesthetic for patients, monitor patient’s vitals during surgery and oversee patient recovery.nnTo be successful in this role you must have the ability to maintain focus while multitasking, remain calm under pressure, and exercise good judgment in emergency situations.nnAbout Us:nnDignity Health Medical Group is the employed physician group of Dignity Health Arizona. Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 200 providers and 500 support staff that cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 subspecialty services. The physicians provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic research and leadership roles. DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrow's healthcare providers. DHMG has 84 medical school students and approximately 200 residents and fellows throughout the 25 academic programs. Clinical services are complemented with translational and bench research to augment medical education for residents and students. For the health of our community ... we are proud to announce that we are a tobacco-free campus.nnResponsibilitiesnnFollowing is a summary of what you can expect in this role:nnProvide anesthesia services for OB patients requiring surgery and other procedures, ensuring they receive excellent care when they are at their most vulnerable.nnOB coveragennIncludes high risk OBnnDepartment manages approximately 4500 cases per yearnnAnesthetic management of patients undergoing surgical procedures and/or providing labor pain managementnnAirway managementnnAssist in cardiopulmonary resuscitationnnAnswer questions about procedures and recovery, perform patient assessments, ensure the equipment is ready, prepare anesthetic for patients, monitor patient’s vitals during surgery and oversee patient recoverynnParticipate in quality assurance and quality improvement for patient carennWork within a multidisciplinary teamnnAdditional duties as assigned by clinical or operational leadershipnnFor the health of our community.
