OverviewnnFairview Health Services is hiring a Surgical Technologist for the Delivery Room at our M Health Fairview, Woodwinds in Woodbury, MN.nnWe’re offering an up to $6,000 sign-on bonus along with a generous relocation bonus up to $5,000!nnAs a Surgical Technologist, you’ll assist in surgical procedures by preparing the operating room, arranging, and passing instruments to surgeons, and ensuring a sterile environment under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. You’ll play a crucial role in supporting the surgical team and maintaining the safety and efficiency of the operating room.nnSchedule: This position will be working 0.6 FTE (48 hours every two weeks). The shift length will be 8 hours on the day shift. This position does have on call requirements. Call requirements are above FTE. This position has a 30-minute call time (onsite call room available as well). This position has an every other weekend requirement.nnAbout our Delivery Room at Woodwinds:nnWoodwinds maternity care center has approximately 2,000 deliveries annually! The OB surg tech will assist in all c-section cases occurring in the maternity OR. A typical shift case load is often 1-2 cases per shift.nnThis role will assist in patient care needs for patients on the maternity department, such as collecting vitals, weights, and completing ADLs for patients. Conduct hearing screenings for newborns.nnThis role will assist in daily cleaning and stocking of labor equipment in the department to meet patient care needsnnWoodwinds has 82 beds in total so if you are looking for a small, community hospital, this is the perfect position for you!
