Job Summary and Qualifications

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse will play a critical role in delivering comprehensive patient care before, during, and after procedures, ensuring physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural support.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and applying intervention skills in all nursing activities.
• Accurately documenting patient care in a timely manner.
• Managing multiple patient assignments effectively and prioritizing care.
• Utilizing emergency triage skills and maintaining keen assessment capabilities.
• Demonstrating flexibility and ability to make quick decisions to meet patient needs.
• Providing patient education and support, addressing barriers to learning.
• Collecting specimens for testing and ensuring compliance with established protocols.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting medical instruments per protocols.

Qualifications needed:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (RN) required; BSN preferred.
• New Hampshire RN license or Compact License where applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification within six months of hire.
• Preferred experience of two years in Cath Lab and Interventional procedures.
