Job Summary and Qualifications
The Cath Lab Registered Nurse will play a critical role in delivering comprehensive patient care before, during, and after procedures, ensuring physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural support.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough assessments and applying intervention skills in all nursing activities.
- Accurately documenting patient care in a timely manner.
- Managing multiple patient assignments effectively and prioritizing care.
- Utilizing emergency triage skills and maintaining keen assessment capabilities.
- Demonstrating flexibility and ability to make quick decisions to meet patient needs.
- Providing patient education and support, addressing barriers to learning.
- Collecting specimens for testing and ensuring compliance with established protocols.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting medical instruments per protocols.
Qualifications needed:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (RN) required; BSN preferred.
- New Hampshire RN license or Compact License where applicable.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification within six months of hire.
- Preferred experience of two years in Cath Lab and Interventional procedures.
