Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES Interviews clientele to determine if they meet the requirements for CareLink (or other University Health programs) and their ability to pay for medical services in accordance with plan policies and procedures. Secures and obtains accurate and complete clientele data for enrollment. Maintains strict confidentiality of member records. Provides excellent customer service and adheres to the standards and behaviors of University Health. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required. Six (6) months of financial counseling or related experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. Experience and knowledge of obtaining insurance benefits and collecting money are preferred. Two (2) years experience in a similar occupation and/or in CareLink is strongly preferred.
