This job was posted by : For more information, please see: JOB DESCRIPTIONnnResponsibilities:nnMove loads around the truck yard and to satellite facility.nAbility to back up trailers to dock doors, often with other trailers on either side of the dock.nVerify loads for accuracy.nEnsure trailer is in quality working condition prior to relocating.nPerform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicle.nEnsure load matches paperwork before leaving all sites.nSafe and legal operation of a commercial vehicle.nVarious other duties and tasks as assigned.nnMinimum Requirements:nnClass A CDL.nGood customer service & teamwork skills.nGood physical condition; must be able to get in and out of trucks several times per day.nAble to work in all types of environments, including inclement weather.nGood backing skills.nRecent verifiable, driving experience or related.nCurrent DOT medical card.nNo more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 yearsnMVR required for interview (current, dated within 30 days of application)nPrior to employment, able to pass a complete DOT physical, drug screen, criminal background check and road testnAvailable for any shift and weekends as needednAble to lift 55 pounds.nAble to prove they have a right to work in the United States.nPrefer high school graduates or GEDs.nSufficient work experience to be successful on the job.nnWork Conditions:nnUse of required personal protective equipment.nOperation and use of necessary tools or equipment.nExtended periods of standing, and other physically demanding conditions.nWhile performing the duties of this job, the individual is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions.
