responsibilities:
  • Supervise short- and long-term planning activities for fleet maintenance tasks.
  • Oversee the creation of maintenance event schedules and determine resource requirements for various projects (personnel, materials, tools, etc.).
  • Monitor the creation and updating of work cards in compliance with the maintenance program specifications for each aircraft type, as well as the update of the maintenance system's document library.
  • Regularly track the progress of maintenance tasks, communicate priorities to the production team, and ensure the execution of the plan.
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve issues that may impact objectives and timelines, making necessary adjustments.
  • Create, update, and share performance measurement reports related to planning activities.
  • Monitor hours worked by project to ensure adherence to budgets and departmental goals.
  • Work with the supply chain team to optimize inventory management and meet planned deadlines.
  • Manage departmental performance unce using key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure continuous improvement of processes.
Required skills:
  • Proficiency with ERP or MRP systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • College diploma in production or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management or Aircraft Maintenance Technician License, an asset.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in aircraft maintenance planning or related activities in the aviation sector.
  • Minimum of five (5) years in a managerial role.
  • Bilingual in English and French, both spoken and written.
