Description The Building and Construction Project Manager will: Oversee and manage tenant improvement projects around San Diego, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing phases. Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met. Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and legal requirements. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to project specifications. Prepare and present project reports, updates, and status reviews to stakeholders. Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle. Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly. Mentor and guide junior staff and project team members. Profile Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience managing tenant improvement projects in the commercial construction industry. Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam). Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
