Structural Steel Project Manager (AISC Fabricator) JOB DESCRIPTION An AISC Fabricator & Erector focused on structural steel in the area seeking a Project Manager to add to their team. They have a strong and highly skilled group focused on teamwork and collaboration. Their compensation package is competitive including bonuses and a 401K program. Structural Steel Project Manager Skills and Requirements: 5 years extensive steel fabrication and erection project management Working knowledge of structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication and erection processes and procedures Familiarity with the construction industry Ability to read and accurately interpret sketches and blueprints, including design, construction, architectural and sub contractor drawings Self motivated and detail oriented Ability to perform work accurately and completely in a timely manner Familiarity of AISC and PCI codes Ability to establish rapport with customers and respond to their needs in an efficient and timely manner Structural Steel Project Manager Job Responsibilities Include: Attend “kick-off” meetings to become familiar with and discuss new projects Coordinate sequencing and any special job issues with General Contractors Keep track of all submittals and press for timely returns Review approval returns for accuracy, then forward to detailer Handle any RFI’s, ASI’s and/or revisions promptly.
