Borgo is the newest addition to the Marlow Collective (Diner, Marlow & Sons, Roman's, Achilles Heel) from restaurateur Andrew Tarlow. Located in Manhattan, Borgo features an expansive formal dining room separated by a fireplace, an open kitchen with a wood-fired oven, and an ambitious beverage program curated by industry veterans. We are seeking a talented Dining Room Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement business strategies and actionable goals for performance, growth, and annual operational planning.
Lead and manage five services per week, ensuring the team upholds Borgo’s high standards.
Oversee the ordering and inventory of supplies, including paper goods, bar essentials, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Partner with the FOH management team to achieve budgeted sales and operating costs by:
Monitoring workflows and productivity to meet budgeted labor costs.
Managing timecards, punch change requests, and time-off requests.
Work alongside the General Manager and Director of Operations to:
Develop and implement systems that ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Recruit, train, and develop a diverse, agile, and committed team.
Provide mentorship and foster a culture of inclusion and belonging.
Participate in team meetings, quarterly financial reviews, and HR training sessions.
Establish and achieve clear individual performance goals.
Successful Candidates Will:
Have 3+ years of progressive dining room experience with a strong foundation in beverage and service knowledge.
Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
Excel in collaboration and teamwork.
Exhibit a positive, friendly demeanor.
Be skilled in conflict resolution and delivering constructive feedback.
