Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Sales and Building Materials Estimator for a full time position at one of their largest Home and Building Material and Supplies Dealer in Brighton Ontario Area.
Full time role with a very base salary + a very Lucrative commission structure!
Responsibilities/Day to day
- Responsible for Communicating with builders, developers, placing orders, working with estimators to get projects quoted.
- Sell to, do estimations and build new and grow existing relationships as well as sales with Contractors, developers and DIYer's.
- Need to understand relevant building codes
- Need to be able to confirm that customers are getting everything they need to complete their intended project and suggest proper materials & supplies for first time or DIY projects. (from an advice and suggestion standpoint not a box checking standpoint)
- Ability to do estimations, measurements for different large scale complex projects.
- Ability to maintain and grow sales in a rapid moving environment.
Day to Day
- Communicate with different jobs on the go
- Double check stock, product, shipped and received orders
- Communicate via phone and email internally and externally
- Work the product desk to help make and estimate any project sales
- Create invoices
- Grow sales and relationships with existing customers
- Curate new relationships with customers, developers ect.
- Inbound and outbound sales.
Must have
- 7-10+ years of Building materials Estimator &/or Sales experience
- Strong understanding of working with Building materials in a Estimator and/or sales role
- Strong understanding of Building codes
- Experience in technical design with the ability to supply and break down building material estimations for customers to complete their projects.
- Educational background or large working experience in an estimator role.
- Ability to maintain and grow sales in a rapid moving Building sales environment
- Strong relationship Management
