JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position is a multi-faceted business role involving the support of UVAD sales and marketing initiatives. This position will be a part of UVAD business development group and work assignments will be directed in conjunction with corporate business goals. Work assignments may vary in relation to sales, marketing, financial, business development, logistics, general office administration, and communications. UVAD is looking for an individual who has aptitude for working in a variety of business related functions.

TASKS AND REPONSIBILITES:

The employee will contribute to ongoing business objectives which may include support for:

• Market and business strategy planning and documentation for product development, commercialization, and communications.
• Responding to Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quotation (RFQ), and other external government, client or vendor requests.
• Assist in development of a market-led sales and marketing plan.
• Participate in Industrial Technology Benefit (ITB) pursuits, programs and deliveries.
• Assist with logistics management including purchasing and inventory management.
• Project management and customer liaison.
• Assist in business development planning for new generations of products and services.
• Organization and utilization of UVAD central Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) processes including the Customer Resource Management Tool (CRM).
• Government, client, or stakeholder communications.
• Development and maintenance of UVAD business or product technology materials, such as corporate presentations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completed or in-process business administration, commerce, marketing, finance, office management or related program.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Power Point.
• The ideal candidate would have an aptitude for business development and technology.
• The candidate will need to demonstrate detail orientation to their work, as well as working well in a team dynamic.
• Experience with government acquisitions or UAV technologies is considered an asset.
• The candidate must be willing accept constructive feedback.
• Ability to receive a Government of Canada security clearance.
