Position Summary and Key Accountabilities:
This is an administrative support opportunity for a candidate looking to pursue a career in wealth management. As a portfolio administrator, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing client meeting documents
- Filling out forms and applications
- Generating reports
- Updating internal systems
- Basic accounting tasks in excel
- Answering phones and greeting clients
- Looking after office supplies
- Preparing client meeting documents
- Conducting investment research
- Assisting portfolio managers and administration as needed
Qualifications:
- Some experience in the financial services industry
- Completion of post-secondary degree
- Completion of Canadian Securities Course is mandatory
- Excellent data entry skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Exceptional organization and strong communication (written and verbal) skills
- Interest in an investment related career
- Pursuit of CFA/CFP designation is preferred
Remuneration:
To be negotiated according to experience and commensurate with industry standards.
