We're on the hunt for a bilingual HR Generalist to join a dynamic team in Mississauga! In this role, you’ll report directly to the Director of HR and partner closely with facility management to ensure staffing levels are on point. What you’ll be doing:
- Owning the full recruitment cycle , from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires.
- Screening applicants and collaborating with managers across QC, Ottawa, and NS.
- Coordinating interviews and managing background checks.
- Building strong employee relationships, including with management and executives.
- Partnering with agencies for recruitment support.
- Ensuring compliance with HR policies, procedures, and health & safety initiatives.
- Staying on top of HR legislation to ensure the company is always in line.
- Organizing new hire schedules and preparing recognition communications.
- Keeping employee files accurate and up to date.
What we’re looking for:
- 3–4 years of HR Generalist experience.
- Fluent in French and English (you’ll be working with QC-based employees).
- A degree or diploma in HR or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of Canadian employment laws and best practices.
- Strong multitasking and communication skills to work effectively with management.
- Experience managing projects and meeting deadlines.
- CHRP/CHRL designation is a plus!
- Flexibility for a hybrid work setup—two days a week in the office.
