Can-Tech Services is looking for an Industrial Electrician for one of our reputable Manufacturing clients in Mississauga.
Our client is a leading Canadian-based manufacturer and global importer of consumer and building products. The Mississauga location is a leading Canadian Manufacturer of highly engineered, value-added extruded plastic components and products serving various markets primarily in North America.
Position: Industrial Electrician.
Position Type: Permanent/Full-Time.
Shift: Days (7.30am- 4pm).

Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoots and maintains production equipment, which includes electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. Works from wiring diagrams, engineering drawings and equipment specifications
- Participate in Maintenance related projects such as installing new machines, modifying machines parts and other special projects
- Repairs and replaces electric and electronic components such as motors, contactors, relays, timers, and kind of switches, PLC's, motor controls, etc.
- Wires new control panels according to drawings, and verbal instructions
- Maintains work order and preventive/predictive maintenance system by filling in the required forms
- Read and write electrical and electronic schematics as well as read basic hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
- Install, examine, replace and repair electronic wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components
- Follow all safety rules inside plant and occupational health and safety act
Education and Experience:
- 442A Industrial Electrician License/309A License.
- Must have manufacturing experience, ideally in the extrusion or plastics industry.
- Lead hand Experience.
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems.
- Excellent problem solving techniques and methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
