Salary Range: $110,000 – $140,000 per year

About the Role:

• Assistant Superintendent on 4-6 storey wood frame/concrete mixed use multifamily residential and commercial construction project in city of Vancouver
• Assist Senior Superintendent to prepare and execute rough in and finishing schedules
• Quality control of trade contractor rough in and finishing work
• Perform QC reviews including but not limited to checklists, deficiency tracking and follow up
• Maintain daily logs
• Anticipate and solve problems proactively
• Communicate and coordinate in a professional manner
• Coordinate with project manager and senior superintendent
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6-8 years working in supervision/leadership capacity in multifamily residential construction this could include trade foreman capacity.
• Experience working on wood frame multifamily residential projects
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel and Word
• Work well with others in a team environment
• Ability to plan, multitask and prioritize critical path items
• Good written and oral communication skills in English
• Must be eligible to work in Canada for any employer
