Construction Project Manager
Contract : 12 months w. likely extensions
Fully On-Site: Levis, QC
Rate : $50-74/hr
Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of experience as a planner and/or scheduler
• 5+ years of experience with utilizing scheduling software P6 or MS Project and excel
• Experience with Data Center construction/build programs OR oil and gas large scale construction
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale datacenter construction projects on time and to the satisfaction of clients.
• Excellent understanding of Project Planning, Earned Value Management and Key Commodity Tracking.
• Ability to analyze EPC plans/schedule and provide deep insights into trends, issues, mitigations.
• Experience in managing teams and working collaboratively with cross-functional groups.
• French-speaking/bilingual
Job Description – About The Role
• Develop and oversee the implementation of detailed project plans, including timelines, and resource requirements, for large-scale datacenter construction projects.
• Manage cross-functional teams, including engineers, procurement, and construction to ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are completed on time.
• Monitor project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.
• Work with clients to understand their needs and ensure project outcomes meet their expectations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Continuously improve project management processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that each project meets its objectives and is delivered on time.
• Develop and implement project management processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide regular project updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate IPS’s (Interactive Planning Sessions) for the project with discipline leads, vendors and client inputs
• Establish the project critical path and continue to analyze and report throughout the project
• Comply with relevant Owner policies and procedures and work within legal and regulatory frameworks.
