Marketers on Demand is recruiting for a Configuration Management Specialist who will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of Configuration Management functions in assigned projects/products, to assure consistency in application of Configuration Management principles and change control processes over the lifecycle of a project/product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Describes, implements and maintains the fundamental activities within the relevant Configuration Management Plan
• Be involved with configuration Management and planning, configuration identification, configuration control and configuration status accounting
• Implements the Configuration Management system for the project/product
• Ensures consistency of information in the configuration management system for the project/ product
• Participates in creation of Product Breakdown Structure
• Ensures proper use of PLM system and end to end implementation of the CM practices
• Specifies to sub-contractors and suppliers the CM requirements through Statement of Work

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in monitoring Systems, Software/Hardware development
• Working experience with PLM systems such as Windchill/Palma
• Working experience of CM practices and principles
• Knowledge of any of the following would be an asset: Microsoft Access, Visual Studio, DOORS, ClearCase/GIT, ClearQuest/JIRA, ERP

Please note, this is a one year contract with a chance of extension. In addition, this is a hybrid position based in the GTA.
