POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting directly to the President / Vice-President and under limited supervision, this role is responsible for leading client fulfillment following the Ignite Methodology. Internally, the consultant will provide mentorship and support to the development of our people, business, and processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serves as the front-face of Ignite Management to our clients by being the point of contact for initial discovery, and as the lead throughout the client engagement lifecycle
- Leads and facilitates client engagements, often working closely with the owners, executives and senior leaders of the company on strategic planning, leadership development and strategy implementation
- Guide our clients through the Ignite Methodology to uncover their “Strategy from Within” and develop leadership capabilities
- Builds and leverages personal and professional network to secure new business and help grow the Ignite brand
- On a project-level basis, leads and mentors Associates to ensure high quality of standards in all client deliverables
- Acts as an internal leader within Ignite and supports the growth of our firm and the development of our people
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
- Undergraduate degree in Business or related field with 5+ years of professional experience in consulting or other business management environment; MBA or special designation such CPA or CPHR preferred
- Strong business acumen with preference for specific knowledge of business strategy, leadership development, or organizational behaviour and/or organizational design
- Significant experience in group session facilitation and leading client meetings
- Strong business professional communication skills (written and verbal/presentation) in English, additional languages are an asset
- Endless curiosity and a penchant for thinking outside of the box, seeking new and better ways to do things
- A humble team player who is also an independent thinker
- Professional ability to maintain client confidentiality
- Passionate about activities outside of work
