Project Description:

We're looking for a talented and passionate Developer to join our Mortgage Pricing team. The successful candidate will help drive transformation projects of our environment across Development / UAT and Production. Our plan is to build a small team of 2 Angular and 2 Java developers in Canada that will collaborate with US-based team

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance functionality in the Risk and Pricing front end.

• Apply subject matter expertise in Angular/HTML5/UI principles to design and implement solutions according to requirements and specifications given by business analysts.

• Work within existing architecture, coding standards and tool sets in order to deliver software that is supportable across the global team.

• Follow the team's agile processes and take responsibility for delivery of tasks on schedule.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• 8+ years of experience in UI development for large scale projects for financial services.

• 3+ years of experience in developing solutions using the Angular framework.

• Able to work with virtual and in-person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadline.

• Knowledge of Kafka, SQL, Elastic Search or similar cache.

• Very familiar with GIT and CI/CD tools.

• Familiar with event driven architectures and the use of micro-services.

• Has worked in an Agile development process.

• Proven track record of building real time user interfaces in a Financial Services context.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

• Familiarity with mortgages, bond trading, risk, or price capture systems
