Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operating Room Manager to lead our surgical team at a private plastic surgery center. This role is ideal for a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with leadership expertise and a strong background in operating room management, including oversight of circulating and scrubbing functions. Experience in PREOP and PACU is a plus. While experience in plastic surgery is welcome, we value candidates from all surgical specialties who bring a high standard of clinical excellence. Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Staff Management:Supervise, mentor, and oversee the surgical team, ensuring all OR staff are well-trained in circulating and scrubbing functions.Foster a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and patient-centered care.Conduct training, onboarding, and ongoing professional development for surgical staff.Ensure all clinical staff adhere to established policies, procedures, and safety standards. Administrative Duties:Develop, implement, and monitor operating room protocols to maintain a smooth workflow.Manage scheduling for surgical procedures and staff assignments.Oversee inventory, ordering, and maintenance of surgical instruments and supplies.Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, regulatory guidelines, and quality assurance measures. Patient Care Oversight:Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and clinical teams to ensure optimal patient care.Oversee preoperative (PREOP) and postoperative (PACU) processes to support safety and satisfaction. Qualifications:Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in (State).Minimum of 5 years of operating room experience, with a focus on leadership or management.Strong understanding of circulating and scrubbing practices, with the ability to train and supervise staff in these roles.Experience in PREOP and PACU is preferred.Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
