  Assistant General Manager

Assistant General Manager:   Will assist overseeing restaurant operations and team members from a kitchen team that prepares vegetables, dressing, and spreads. Our front of house team that oversees setting up of our quick service line, mobile pickup, delivery and catering service line. Managers provide leadership and motivation, so all team members are guest and team focused. Setting high standards and positive work environment for our team to create a successful guest experience day to day.

 

We are looking for an individual that has enthusiasm, engagement in supporting us achieve our operational goals thru growth, brand awareness, coaching, development, training, leadership and accountability.

What you’ve got:

  • Self-Starter, takes initiative and communicates with team
  • Passionate, High energy and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • 3+ years’ experience in restaurant management
  • Experience in fast casual restaurants (preferred)
  • Manage and develop team members per shift
  • P/L’s, COG, Budgeting, Labor scheduling, Training, team development
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks
  • Good communication skills for dealing with guest and diverse team
  • Food Safety Certificate NYC

 

About Fotia Mediterranean

  • Competitive Salary ($52,000-$55,000.00)
  • Health insurance

-5 days: 40-45hours

  • Paid vacation

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to bend and reach overhead
  • Must be able to handle tongs, pots, pans and other equipment
  • Must be comfortable working near hot ovens
  • May be required to work in tight spaces
  • May stand for long periods of time
  • Must be comfortable working in temperatures ranging from hot to cold
