Clean Harbors is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Operator to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks at our customer sites. In this role, you will drive vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll-offs while performing essential duties on and off customer sites related to hazardous waste clean-up.

Key Responsibilities: - Ensure health and safety is the top priority by adhering to all safe work practices and policies.
- Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers in a collaborative team environment.
- Operate a variety of Class A trucks effectively.
- Handle loading and unloading of trucks as required.
- Engage in manual labor on-site to meet customer needs.
- Properly placard vehicles to comply with company and DOT regulations.
- Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and various reports accurately.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal compliance regulations.
- Safely operate vehicles in alignment with U.S. DOT requirements.
- Follow all corporate operating guidelines and procedures diligently.
- Observe company environmental health and safety guidelines consistently.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Be available for on-call emergency response on a rotating basis every other week.
- Participate in site remediation, equipment decontamination, and the safe handling of hazardous materials.
Required Qualifications: - Valid Class A CDL.
- Willingness to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within the first 90 days of employment.
- Capability to utilize various mobile devices for job requirements.
- Physical ability to perform job functions as required.
- Successful completion of background check, drug test, and physical assessment.
- Compliance with OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience as a commercial driver.
- Possession of Hazmat and Tanker endorsement.
- Previous experience handling Hazmat materials.
- Proficiency in operating a manual transmission.
- Experience in manual labor roles.
