Salary:
$45 per hour, plus $150 per week, totaling a minimum of $47.50 per hour, ensuring a competitive compensation package for our Travel Licensed Practical Nurses.
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Travel Licensed Practical Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team. As a Travel LPN, you will have the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings across different locations while providing exceptional care to patients.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Monitor patients' health status and report any changes to the nursing team to ensure seamless care transitions.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness strategies to promote self-care and independence.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, adhering to facility policies and BC health regulations.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to enhance patient care outcomes, fostering a culture of teamwork and mutual respect.
Qualifications:
• Valid LPN license in British Columbia (BCCN&M Registration).
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Two years of previous experience in long-term care or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, prioritizing patient-centered care and safety.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care, promoting dignity and respect for all individuals.
