Our team of Supply Chain and Logistics experts speaks your language and operates in your world.We are supporting one of our customers, a leader in the distribution sector, in its search for a Warehouse Team Leader.
Reporting to the Distribution Supervisor, the Team Leader will play a key role in supporting the management team in planning and organizing the daily operations of the department.
ResponsibilitiesAnalysis and Organization: Assess field operations, define priorities and allocate team members according to shift operational needs.Productivity: Ensure team operational productivity and support team members in achieving performance objectives.Safety: Promote OHS standards and ensure a safe working environment for the team.Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that equipment inspections are carried out by workers and that mechanical problems are resolved promptly.Training and Development: Identify distributor training needs and propose opportunities for improvement.Pallet Management: Ensure that all pallets sent for distribution are scanned.Error Analysis: Analyze distribution error reports and pass on information to the appropriate people.Coordination: Collaborate with the central aisle department to ensure pallets are distributed according to the FIFO method.Pallet truck management: Coordinate the use of pallet trucks.- College diploma in administration, supply chain, operations management,or an equivalent combination of education and experience;- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar position;- Ability to coordinate several activities at the same time and to managepriorities;- Good knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Excel;- Good communication and leadership skills;- Organized, rigorous and great attention to detail;- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
