You will create key messaging to promote our culture and employee value proposition and ensure that our strategic plans and initiatives are effectively communicated to employees and stakeholders. The Ideal Candidate: 5 years in internal communications or related field 1 year of leadership experience Proficient with CMS (e.g., First Source) and Microsoft 365 Commitment to YVFWC’s mission and values Willingness to travel within the service area What You’ll Do: Develop and implement communication strategies for new mission, vision, and values. Create key messaging to promote culture and employee value proposition. Communicate strategic plans and initiatives to employees and stakeholders. Produce and manage content, including newsletters, emails, videos, presentations, and intranet updates. Oversee the editorial calendar to ensure timely and relevant communication. Provide guidance and support to the internal communications specialist. Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure clear, consistent communication. Facilitate forums and town hall meetings to gather employee feedback and promote engagement. Manage daily operations of the internal communications function. Enhance communication channels for usability and informativeness. Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communications and report findings to leadership. Develop crisis communication plans for emergencies. Coach and mentor staff; manage performance and conduct evaluations. Support staff development and encourage educational opportunities. Participate in recruitment and orientation of new staff. Foster an inclusive work environment and support diversity. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
