Logistics Engineer
Location: Huntsville, AL - Onsite with hybrid flexibility
Duration: 3 month contract
Day-to-Day:
A client in Huntsville is looking for a Logistics Engineer that will be supporting the CH-47 Block II Modification. This person will use their experience in Army products/publications to establish compliance with Army Regulations and Military Standards. The objective is to create integrated product support elements for Army UAS using concepts, theories, techniques, and ideas to develop CDRL's (Contract Data Requirement Lists). This person will also create logistics deliverables inclusive of Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), and Provisioning Parts Lists (PPL). This person will need strong attention to detail and knowledge of logistics specific to the military.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field like logistics or engineering. Will substitute degree requirement for more years of experience.
- Skilled in PowerLogJ
- ontractor Logistics Support (CLS) proficiency
- Working knowledge of GEIA-STD-0007
- Proficient in the use of Computerized Optimization Model for Predicting and Analyzing Support Structure (COMPASS) - (the Army’s LORA modeling tool)
- Strong interpersonal skills as this person will work in a team environment and interface with the government customer.
