Our client, a prestigious firm specializing in providing comprehensive advisory services, is seeking an experienced and skilled Private Equity Tax Advisor to join their team. This role will focus on delivering a wide range of tax services to private equity-owned portfolio companies, guiding them through complex tax landscapes, including tax compliance, tax accounting, and tax planning.

Focus:
- Deliver outstanding tax compliance, accounting, and planning services to private equity-owned operating companies.
- Demonstrate expertise in partnership and/or corporate income tax, including Accounting for Income Taxes (ASC 740).
- Supervise and review the work of teams or individuals, ensuring timely and accurate completion of engagements.
- Serve as a mentor, team leader, and Career Advocate, providing timely feedback to team members.
- Recognize, research, document, and resolve complex technical issues.
- Contribute to business development efforts, identifying opportunities to expand services to existing clients.
Skill Set:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. CPA required.
- At least 5 years of progressive tax compliance and planning experience in partnership taxation and/or corporate income taxation. Familiarity with tax purchase accounting is a plus.
- Strong research skills with the ability to document findings and resolve technical issues.
- Ability to supervise, coach, and develop team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Adherence to the highest professional ethics.
