Employment Type: Contract/will be a W2 employee with Solu Technology Partners.

Salary Range: depending on experience:

$50.50 per hour is approximately ($105,000.00 per year)

$82.00 per hour is approximately ($170,000.00 per year)

Job Description

The role involves designing, specifying, and providing technical direction for developing new or existing applications to address a range of problems or enhancements. This position includes serving as a principal application designer, providing technological solutions, and offering day-to-day support. The ideal candidate should have both web services and extensive data experience, with knowledge of Talend or Azure being beneficial. Strong communication skills and problem assessment capabilities are a plus. Candidate must be available to work in Wilmington Delaware 3 days a week (Tue, Wed, and Thur).

Responsibilities

• Conduct systems analysis, design, and development for basic to complex projects.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to less experienced team members.

• Prepare and manage technical components of project plans.

• Collaborate with development, operations, and technology teams from technical analysis to user acceptance testing.

• Develop and execute detailed test plans and debugging as necessary.

• Evaluate interrelationships among programs and systems for optimal functionality.

• Prepare technical and functional specifications and update system documentation.

• Assess project tasks, timeframes, and effort requirements.

• Recommend and implement new technologies, policies, or processes for organizational improvement.

• Adhere to regulatory and risk standards while maintaining internal control standards.

• Promote diversity and uphold the company’s brand in the workplace.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate’s degree and 5 years of systems analysis/application development experience, or 7 years of combined education and work experience.

• Proficient with application development software, hardware platforms, and pertinent project management tools.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting to various audiences.

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.

• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and coordinate between technical teams and business units.

• Expertise in ETL/SQL/Data Processing and Enterprise Webservices - Java/Spring Boot.

• Knowledge of web services and data processing, with Talend or Azure experience being a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of the Bank\'s application framework and interfacing applications.

• Subject matter expertise in relevant business areas and supported applications.

• Ability to work independently and in team settings on complex projects.

• Proactive, action-oriented approach to work.
