Job Summary: Responsible for developing and maintaining applications using a variety of technologies that support multiple lines of Business and IT initiatives.

Essential Job Duties:

• Responsible for the analysis, design, development and implementation of applications including:
• System and data analysis, architecture and design.
• Data integration and workflow design.
• Software development, configuration and customization.
• Determines technical system specifications based on project requirements, including input/output requirements, file structure, etc.
• Manages time across multiple projects and tasks in a deadline-driven, team environment.
• Participates in discussions with team members about technical best practices and help teams identify optimal technical solutions.
• Understands Agile methodology and instills best practices into the process.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of software development with emphasis on applications development.
• Knowledge of web services, ESB, SOA, distributed and interoperability - understanding of web service protocols such as SOAP and REST.
• Hands-on experience with Java, XML, HTTP, JS.
• Experience with RDBMS, SQL.
• Excellent analytical ability.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work in team environment while possessing individual accountability.
• Attention to detail and ability to thoroughly assure the quality of completed work.
• Ability to stay on task and meet deadlines for repetitive duties.
