Our client: Global logistics organization with multiple US offices is seeking:
IT Logistics & Finance Manager with experience in Cargowise
for the FT role in their NY offices location in Rosedale, NY 11422 with the Hybrid work schedule model: 3 days on site / 2 remote.
As the IT Logistics & Finance Manager, your role will involve overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) and satellite logistics and finance systems. You will be managing a team of IT professionals and third-party consultants to ensure the systems meet business requirements and to provide seamless service delivery of ERP services to users. You will be instrumental in optimizing business processes and improving operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Cargowise ERP System Management: Oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Cargowise and satellite systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to understand their needs and ensure that the ERP and related systems support their business processes.
- Lead Cargowise projects from inception to completion.
- Ensure system stability and compliance with relevant regulations and security standards.
- Manage and mentor a team of ERP professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Lead IT ERP Service Operations: Ensure service excellence and seamless delivery of ERP services.
- Managing enhancements, new feature development, incidents, and standard change request to be delivered on time.
- Manage relationship with external vendors and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Create and maintain knowledge base for internal IT (team and service desk) and end-user usage.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures, including data security and privacy.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify and execute on opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging IT trends, technologies, and industry best practices.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, system optimization, and automation.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, Logistics, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in TMS / ERP technical roles, including delivering IT projects/initiatives, IT system analysis, IT business consultation, and/or IT solution design roles.
- 5+ years of experience in managing It professionals, including both internal stakeholders and external suppliers/consultants.
- Cargowise TMS/ERP platform with concentration in Finance and Accounting IT.
- Service Management and Project Management experience including:
- ITIL Foundation (required).
- ITIL Advanced.
- Agile/Scrum.
- PMP certifications.
- Other IT experience (preferred):
- EDI/API.
- BI Dashboard and Reporting Solutions.
- CRM, Rate & Quotation Management Systems.
