Legal Administrative Assistant (Elder Law)
Responsibilities:
- Case management and filing of legal documentation, including but not limited to: Orders of Guardianship and other elder care documents.
- Setting up case alerts through MRCRO and downloading documents from MRCRO.
- Managing daily mail and handling paperwork.
- Bates stamping documents.
- Scheduling court hearings and client meetings.
Ideal Profile/Top Must Haves:
- 2+ years handling legal documents in Elder Law.
- Tech-savvy - must be comfortable with computers (Mac) & scanners (i.e. One Drive, Harvest (time-management), and Microsoft Outlook).
- Multi-tasking and handling variety of tasks in fast-paced environment, emotionally charged work environment.
- Resourceful and independent self-starter.
- Exceptional organization skills.
- Professionalism and ability to handle confidential case matter.
