As a Center Medical Director , you’ll oversee the medical care of enrolled participants, serving in a variety of settings such as the clinic, participants' homes, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and personal care boarding homes. While direct inpatient hospital care is not required, you’ll work closely with hospital providers to ensure coordinated care for participants. This position also includes overseeing day-to-day medical operations, managing a talented medical team, and contributing to budget management, quality improvement, and resource utilization.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary Care (40%)
- Provide comprehensive medical care to enrolled participants, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
- Manage medical records in compliance with policies and contribute to EMR improvements.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours care (minimal calls, triaged by RN).
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop participant care plans.
- Help shape new medical programs and processes to support strategic goals.
Administrative & Supervision (60%)
- Assist in preparing and managing the primary care budget.
- Analyze utilization data and report on areas with significant budget variance.
- Participate in quality initiatives and address primary care-related grievances.
- Lead and champion primary care strategic initiatives.
- Oversee recruitment, hiring, and performance management for primary care staff.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented environment and engage with staff to drive organizational goals.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree.
- Board Certified in a primary care specialty (Board Eligible is acceptable, with board certification required within 12 months of employment).
- Active Medical License in your practicing state.
- DEA License with full prescriptive authority.
- Minimum of one year of experience working with frail or elderly patients.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate training in a primary care specialty, such as internal or family medicine.
- Completion of post-residency training in geriatric medicine.
- Bilingual.

Salary Range: $300,000 - $360,000 annually (based on qualifications and experience).
