Location : Irwindale, CA

Salary Range: $150,000-$200,000

Position Summary:

The Senior Manager Customer Development has a deep understanding of communication, proven ability in developing hard hitting impactful customer presentations, the ability to drive, track, report and evaluate execution and sales objectives are crucial to the success of a person in this role. This role is responsible for developing customer development strategy to position Bonduelle Fresh Americas as an industry leader. For the successful candidate, this means being the conduit for sales between corporate headquarters from a marketing, R&D, and finance standpoint.

You will challenge the status quo, manage multiple relationships and apply a real understanding of our customers, sales force, brokers and the information we have available to drive communications and sales success.

The role will develop and deploy Playbooks for the Sales Organization and be responsible for the reporting of sales related information to relay Key KPIs to the leadership team, marketing and other company leaders. The manager must also translate tracking and internal marketing information into insights and communications that provide meaningful information externally and internally. This is a hands-on position; in a fast paced and highly creative environment. This associate will work closely with Product and Project Managers to ensure that the right outputs are developed in a timely fashion to ensure appropriate selling time is available for the sales team to execute marketing and operations plans. The successful candidate will be dynamic and hungry to drive sales through efficient and effective planning and managing.


What you will Do:

Sales Communication & Coordination:

  • Serve as the central conduit for all sales-related communications between corporate and field teams.
  • Develop and manage tools such as price lists, sell sheets, and sales playbooks.
  • Oversee sales website management and retailer setup processes.
  • Ensure timely communication of supply issues and pre-packaged bid information.

Sales Tracking & Reporting:

  • Track and report sales performance metrics, revenue, and share growth.
  • Manage revenue tracking meetings and account planning processes.
  • Deliver actionable insights derived from data, including forecasting support and sales objective tracking.

Sales Support & Enablement:

  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to produce sales materials, displays, and in-store assets.
  • Plan and execute sales meetings and trade show participation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Actively contribute to cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and share knowledge.

Key Deliverables & Characteristics

Sales Tracking & Reporting:

  • Serve as the primary link for information flow between sales and corporate teams to drive revenue growth and market share.
  • Track and report sales performance, objectives, and revenue metrics to support decision-making.
  • Develop and manage account planning tools and processes.

Sales Communication & Enablement:

  • Act as the central hub for all sales communications, including price lists, sell sheets, playbooks, and other key resources.
  • Manage the sales website and ensure accurate retailer setup and internal sales reporting.
  • Provide pre-packaged bid information and timely updates on supply issues.

Sales Materials & Support:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and distribute in-store materials, such as displays and pusher trays.
  • Plan and execute sales meetings and trade show participation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Play an active role in cross-functional teams to align strategies and ensure seamless execution across marketing, operations, and sales.

Essential Functions / Experience:

  • Strong analytical mindset with a proven ability to synthesize data into actionable intelligence.
  • Good communication skills (both verbal and written); with the ability to compose and relay information throughout the team and keep other key stakeholders informed on tracking.
  • Sound understanding of sales force needs and the retail landscape.
  • Ability to translate sales tracking into actionable insights and recommendation.
  • Working knowledge of syndicated services (Nielsen/IRI scanner) required along with high proficiency of MS Office Suite products. Expert PowerPoint/Presentation Skills
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with business partners and team members and proactively update on progress.
  • Highly organized, self-starter with the ability to manage projects with limited oversight and proactively identify new ways to communicate with sales and track sales results.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, adapt well to change and able to prioritize multiple work assignments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or Economics.
  • 5+ years of sales communications and tracking experience with consumer-packaged goods manufacturer, broker or a consulting / market research provider.
  • 5+ years previous experience in Retail/Club Channels.
  • Proficiency in syndicated services like Nielsen/IRI scanner data.
