Our client located in South Houston is expanding, and we’re looking for an experienced Financial Planning Manager to join their growing FP&A team. This role will play a crucial part in providing financial insights and analysis to guide strategic decision-making and be the right hand to the Director of Finance.

The new company features state-of-the-art technology and will deliver value-added enhanced sustainability through post-consumer recycled materials in a variety of end products that serve the energy, infrastructure and consumer products industries.


What You’ll Do:

As the Financial Planning Manager, your role will be pivotal in offering financial insights of operations to the senior management team. You will create and maintain comprehensive financial models and forecasts, oversee the annual budget/long-term planning process, prepare detailed monthly financial reports and present findings to senior management. Responsibilities for this high-profile position include:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models and forecasts.
  • Manage annual budgeting and long-term planning processes.
  • Prepare detailed monthly financial reports and deliver presentations to management.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business insights.
  • Ensure quality and consistency in financial analyses, guiding a small team of direct reports.


What You Bring:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in financial analysis or FP&A.
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Advanced skills in financial modeling and data analysis tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, and PowerBI.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles.
  • Preferred experience in polymers or a related industry.
