Introduction

 

Outrig, (formerly goHomePort) is a rapidly growing owner/operator of high-end RV & Boat storage properties across the United States. We focus on providing our customers with a “best in class” experience through investing in new technologies, services, and amenities. We are looking to bring on a Property Manager all-star to be a part of our growth in this region.

 

Job Description:

The Property Manager (“PM”) is a crucial position within Outrig, as this role will be the main channel of communication with our new and existing customers at our new location. The PM will be responsible for property leasing, existing and future customer communication, managing onsite vendors and working with the other Outrig teams to deliver on monthly and yearly budgets.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage all leasing activities at a few of our Colorado locations
  • Answer calls, texts, and emails from customers inquiring about Boat and RV storage rates and process move-ins and credit card payments
  • Respond to reviews within 48 hours of being posted online
  • Understand customer needs and cross sell into appropriate facilities throughout the portfolio, if applicable
  • Understand the benefits of an Outrig property versus other competing properties (amenities, pricing, etc.)
  • Act fiscally and morally responsible while collecting customer data to process contracts, payments and updating customer profiles
  • Customer contract management including processing payments, facilitating collections attempts and refunds
  • Deposit rents either via remote deposit or in a bank branch location
  • Keep the facility clean and welcoming for tenants, while communicating to management any facility needs that need to be addressed
  • Completing daily, weekly and monthly checklists as needed
  • Manage 3rd party contractors to ensure property is best-in class
  • Manage onsite temporary signage to ensure any banners are getting rotated and messaging is not getting stale
  • Direct customers to our onsite service and repair locations, where necessary

 

Job Requirements:

  • Previous property management experience is required (2+ years is preferred)
  • Prior experience with software platforms StorEDGE, Sitelink, or other storage operating systems is a plus
  • Good data entry skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask between phone conversations and computer programs
  • Ability to travel, when necessary
  • A positive and resilient attitude
  • A team player that can wear multiple hats
