Materials Engineer / Specialist III

Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency in engineering projects? We’re looking for a Materials Engineer / Specialist III to join our team on a contract basis in Spring, Texas .

This role involves working closely with internal teams, contractors, and sub-contractors to ensure engineering work meets company standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. You’ll facilitate and coordinate technical engineering work, provide expert reviews, and play a key role in promoting capital efficiency and safety in design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and coordinate discipline engineering work across teams and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with design standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Review and comment on discipline design drawings and documents.
• Manage technical queries and maintain the Deviation Control Log.
• Support engineering reviews and ensure timely communication of progress and concerns.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related specialty (or equivalent professional experience).
• Strong knowledge of discipline design standards, codes, and safety criteria.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical documentation.
• Ability to adapt to tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
